The Thunderbird Chiefs (Phoenix, AZ) basketball crushed the visiting Austin Panthers (El Paso, TX), 64-39 in Monday's non-league test.

The Chiefs (8-2) will now prepare for their test against Kellis (Glendale, AZ). The Cougars go into the non-league test with a 6-1 record. In their last test, Kellis walloped Dysart (El Mirage, AZ), 50-46, in a league test.

The Panthers now own a 11-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Adams for a non-league test on Tuesday, December 28. Austin will clash with a Cougars squad coming off a 64-61 league loss to Hillcrest (Dallas, TX). The Cougars record now stands at 7-3.
