New Jersey High School Softball - Linden gets by McNair Academic
April 25, 2024: Linden, NJ 07036 The Linden Tigers (Linden, NJ) softball nipped the visiting McNair Academic Cougars (Jersey City, NJ), 12-11 in Thursday's non-league bout.
The Tigers (5-2) will now prepare for their bout against New Providence (New Providence, NJ). The Pioneers go into the non-league bout with a 6-2 record. In their last bout, New Providence held off Rahway (Rahway, NJ), 16-0, in a league bout.
The Cougars now possess a 8-1 record. They play next when they travel to Ferris for a HCIAL - National bout on Friday, April 26. McNair Academic will confront a Bulldogs squad coming off a 18-3 league loss to Memorial (West New York, NJ). The Bulldogs record now stands at 5-3.
