The Delta Eagles (Muncie, IN) softball routed the host Monroe Central Golden Bears (Parker City, IN), 26-18 in Wednesday's non-league bout.

The Eagles (1-12) will now prepare for their bout against Shelbyville (Shelbyville, IN). The Golden Bears go into the Hoosier Heritage bout with a 11-4 record. In their last bout, Shelbyville was routed by New Palestine (New Palestine, IN), 6-4, in a league bout.
