February 7, 2022: Redding, CT 06896 Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Brookfield Bobcats (Brookfield, CT) and the host Joel Barlow Falcons (Redding, CT), saw Brookfield's basketball squad wallop Joel Barlow by a tally of 44-18.
With the victory, Brookfield improves its record to 10-6 on the campaign. The Bobcats host Kolbe-Cathedral (Bridgeport, CT) to play the Cougars in a Southwest - Patriot challenge on Thursday, February 10. The Cougars come into the challenge with a record of 10-8. Kolbe-Cathedral won 50-34 in their recent league challenge against Weston (Weston, CT)
Next up, the Falcons play the Newtown Nighthawks (Newtown, CT) in a Southwest - Colonial challenge, on Thursday, February 10. Joel Barlow will attempt to improve on its 2-13 season record. The Nighthawks come into the challenge with a 12-4 record after their 44-33 league loss to Pomperaug (Southbury, CT).
