The Castle Knights (Newburgh, IN) softball routed the host North Central Thunderbirds (Farmersburg, IN), 15-3 in Saturday's non-league bout.

The Knights (11-4) will now prepare for their bout against Mooresville (Mooresville, IN). The Pioneers go into the non-league bout with a 3-1 record. In their last bout, Mooresville toppled Martinsville (Martinsville, IN), 13-4, in a league bout.
