The Sanderson Spartans basketball team (Raleigh, NC), was overwhelmed 48-24 in Wednesday's non-league battle with the visiting Wake Forest Cougars (Wake Forest, NC)

The Cougars now possess a 4-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Leesville Road for a non-league battle on Friday, December 17. Wake Forest will confront a Pride team coming off a 43-40 non-league win over Heritage (Wake Forest, NC). The Pride record now stands at 3-4.

The Spartans (0-8) will now prepare for their battle against Rolesville (Rolesville, NC). The Rams come into the non-league battle with a 6-2 record. In their last battle, Rolesville was overwhelmed by Bunn (Bunn, NC), 47-44, in a non-league battle.
