September 18, 2009: Erie, PA 16502 The Franklin Knights football team (Franklin, PA), was ripped 62-6 in Friday's non-league challenge with the host Strong Vincent Colonels (Erie, PA)
The Colonels (2-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Cathedral Prep (Erie, PA). The Ramblers come into the District 10 Region 6 AAA challenge with a 2-1 record. In their last challenge, Cathedral Prep trounced DuBois (DuBois, PA), 55-14, in a non-league challenge.
The Knights now sport a 0-3 record. They take the field next when they host Grove City for a District 10 Region 5 AAA challenge on Friday, September 25. Franklin will meet a Eagles team coming off a 34-14 non-league loss to Wilmington Area (New Wilmington, PA). The Eagles record now stands at 2-1.
