September 22, 2023: Pittsburgh, PA 15239 Gateway Gators (Monroeville, PA) fans left the game content Friday as they saw their football team rout the host Plum Mustangs (Pittsburgh, PA), 49-14 in a league test.
With the triumph, Gateway improves its record to 2-3 on the campaign. The Gators host Hempfield Area (Greensburg, PA) to confront the Spartans in a WPIAL AAAAA Big East test on Friday, September 29. The Spartans come into the test with a record of 1-4. Hempfield Area lost 41-18 in their recent league test against Penn-Trafford (Harrison City, PA)
With the loss, Plum drops to 2-3 on the campaign. The Mustangs host Franklin Regional (Murrysville, PA) to confront the Panthers in a WPIAL AAAAA Big East test on Friday, September 29. The Panthers come into the test with a record of 3-2. Franklin Regional won 55-7 in their recent non-league test against Shaler Area (Pittsburgh, PA)
