The Central Catholic Raiders (Modesto, CA) basketball nipped the host River Islands Riptide (Lathrop, CA), 79-77 in Wednesday's league test.

The Raiders (9-4) will now prepare for their test against Gregori (Modesto, CA). The Jaguars go into the non-league test with a 3-5 record. In their last test, Gregori was tipped by Sierra (Manteca, CA), 52-37, in a non-league test.
