The Parkview Patriots (Little Rock, AR) football edged the host Bryant Hornets (Bryant, AR), 28-27 in Friday's non-league bout.

In their next game, the Patriots face the North Little Rock Charging Wildcats (North Little Rock, AR) in a non-league bout, on Friday, September 15. Parkview will attempt to advance on its 2-0 season record. The Charging Wildcats enter the bout with a 0-2 record after their 58-20 non-league loss to Fayetteville (Fayetteville, AR).

The Hornets (2-1) will now prepare for their bout against Northside (Fort Smith, AR). The Grizzlies enter the 7A Central bout with a 0-4 record. In their last bout, Northside was nudged by Fayetteville (Fayetteville, AR), 56-0, in a non-league bout.
