May 10, 2024: Rochester, MN 55902 Lourdes Eagles (Rochester, MN) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Goodhue Wildcats (Goodhue, MN), 9-6 in a league challenge.
The Eagles now own a 6-10 record. They take the field next when they host Kasson-Mantorville for a Hiawatha Valley challenge on Monday, May 13. Lourdes will battle a Komets squad coming off a 11-2 non-league loss to Century (Rochester, MN). The Komets record now stands at 9-4.
With the loss, Goodhue falls to 5-12 on the campaign. The Wildcats host Kenyon-Wanamingo (Kenyon, MN) to battle the Knights in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, May 14. The Knights enter the challenge with a record of 7-6. Kenyon-Wanamingo won 18-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Triton (Dodge Center, MN)
