January 20, 2024: Texico, NM 88135 The Academy for Technology and The Classics basketball team (Santa Fe, NM), was overwhelmed 31-7 in Saturday's non-league battle with the host Texico Wolverines (Texico, NM)
The Wolverines now possess a 6-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Melrose for a non-league battle on Thursday, January 25. Texico will battle a Buffaloes team coming off a 49-47 non-league win over Ruidoso (Ruidoso, NM). The Buffaloes record now stands at 14-2.
The (4-10) will now prepare for their battle against Estancia (Estancia, NM). The Bears come into the 2A District 2 battle with a 8-4 record. In their last battle, Estancia was overwhelmed by Tucumcari (Tucumcari, NM), 44-35, in a non-league battle.
