Connecticut High School Lacrosse - Newtown drops to Warde
April 6, 2024: Newtown, CT 06482 Warde Mustangs (Fairfield, CT) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad achieve victory over the host Newtown Nighthawks (Newtown, CT), 5-1 in a non-league battle.
The Mustangs now have a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Staples for a Fairfield County battle on Tuesday, April 9. Warde will clash with a Wreckers squad coming off a 5-4 non-league win over Rye (Rye, NY). The Wreckers record now stands at 2-0.
In their next game, the Nighthawks clash with the Weston Trojans (Weston, CT) in a South West battle, on Tuesday, April 9. Newtown will attempt to move on its 0-1 season record.
