In Friday's non-league outing, the Williston Red Devils (Williston, FL) basketball squad nipped the visiting Vanguard Knights (Ocala, FL), by a margin of 43-38.

The Red Devils (3-5) will now prepare for their outing against Dixie County (Cross City, FL). The Bears go into the 1A District 7 outing with a 6-2 record.

The Knights now own a 1-6 record. They play next when they travel to Springstead for a non-league outing on Monday, December 12. Vanguard will encounter a Eagles squad coming off a 43-31 non-league loss to Weeki Wachee (Weeki Wachee, FL). The Eagles record now stands at 5-4.
