The Murrah Mustangs (Jackson, MS) basketball felled the host Brandon Bulldogs (Brandon, MS), 47-39 in Tuesday's non-league test.

The Mustangs (4-1) will now prepare for their test against Columbus (Columbus, MS). The Falcons go into the non-league test with a 2-0 record. In their last test, Columbus thwarted West Lowndes (Columbus, MS), 86-45, in a non-league test.

The Bulldogs now own a 1-3 record. They play next when they travel to Northwest Rankin for a non-league test on Thursday, November 15. Brandon will encounter a Cougars squad coming off a 58-31 non-league loss to Pearl (Pearl, MS). The Cougars record now stands at 0-4.
