The Pine Prairie Panthers (Pine Prairie, LA) football overcame the visiting Block Bears (Jonesville, LA), 28-6 in Friday's non-league bout.

In their next game, the Panthers clash with the Grant Cougars (Dry Prong, LA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, October 1. Pine Prairie will attempt to move on its 4-0 season record. The Cougars enter the bout with a 4-0 record after their 42-36 non-league win over Beau Chene (Arnaudville, LA).

The Bears (0-3) will now prepare for their bout against Bolton (Alexandria, LA). The Bears enter the non-league bout with a 0-4 record. In their last bout, Bolton was toppled by Buckeye (Buckeye, LA), 19-12, in a non-league bout.
