Barr-Reeve Vikings (Montgomery, IN) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting North Central Thunderbirds (Farmersburg, IN), 47-27 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Barr-Reeve upgrades its record to 6-8 on the season. The Vikings host Shakamak (Jasonville, IN) to play the Lakers in a non-league bout on Thursday, January 4. The Lakers go into the bout with a record of 10-4.

Next up, the Thunderbirds play the Oblong/Hutsonville/Palestine (Oblong, IL) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 28. North Central will attempt to upgrade on its 8-6 season record.
