The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Radford Bobcats (Radford, VA) and the visiting Carroll County Cavaliers (Hillsville, VA), observed Radford's football squad thwart Carroll County by a count of 36-7.

The Bobcats now own a 5-2 record. They play next when they host Floyd County for a Three Rivers contest on Friday, October 22.

Coming up next, the Cavaliers play the Patrick County Cougars (Stuart, VA) in a Piedmont contest, on Saturday, October 9. Carroll County will attempt to upgrade on its 0-6 season record. The Cougars go into the contest with a 2-4 record after their 67-0 league loss to Bassett (Bassett, VA).
