Iowa High School Basketball - Waukee fells Indianola
January 14, 2023: Indianola, IA 50125 Waukee Warriors (Waukee, IA) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Indianola Indians (Indianola, IA), 52-36 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Waukee upgrades its record to 4-3 on the season. The Warriors host Urbandale (Urbandale, IA) to clash with the J-Hawks in a Central Iowa Metro - Central bout on Friday, January 27. The J-Hawks go into the bout with a record of 3-10.
Next up, the Indians clash with the Newton Cardinals (Newton, IA) in a Little Hawkeye bout, on Friday, January 20. Indianola will attempt to upgrade on its 5-7 season record. The Cardinals go into the bout with a 3-9 record after their 48-41 non-league loss to Prairie City-Monroe (Monroe, IA).
