The (3-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Riverside (Durham, NC). The Pirates enter the non-league challenge with a 4-2 record. In their last challenge, Riverside defeated Webb (Oxford, NC), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Panthers encounter the North Carolina School of Science & Math Unicorns (Durham, NC) in a 2A/1A Carolina 12 challenge, on Thursday, August 30. Granville Central will attempt to move on its 1-6 season record. The Unicorns enter the challenge with a 2-4 record after their 3-0 league win over Durham School of the Arts (Durham, NC).
