August 30, 2023: Warrenton, NC 27589 The Vance County Vipers (Henderson, NC) volleyball tipped the host Warren County Eagles (Warrenton, NC), 3-2 in Wednesday's non-league outing.
With the win, Vance County upgrades its record to 3-4 on the year. The Vipers host South Granville (Creedmoor, NC) to face the Vikings in a Northern Lakes Athletic 2A/3A outing on Thursday, August 31. The Vikings go into the outing with a record of 3-4. South Granville lost 3-2 in their recent non-league outing against Riverside-Durham (Durham, NC)
The Eagles now own a 1-2 record. They play next when they host Northampton County for a Tar Roanoke 1A outing on Tuesday, September 5.
