The Austintown-Fitch Falcons basketball team scored 50 points and held the visiting Washington Tigers to 47 in the Falcons non-league triumph on Friday.

The Falcons now sport a 4-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to GlenOak for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 20. Austintown-Fitch will battle a Golden Eagles team coming off a 60-59 non-league win over Archbishop Hoban (Akron, OH). The Golden Eagles record now stands at 6-0.

The Tigers (1-2) will now prepare for their contest against Coventry (Akron, OH). The Comets enter the non-league contest with a 2-6 record. In their last contest, Coventry nudged Field (Mogadore, OH), 67-48, in a league contest.
