Pennsylvania High School Football - Franklin Regional drops to Woodland Hills

October 8, 2021: Murrysville, PA 15668

In Friday's league game, the Woodland Hills Wolverines (Pittsburgh, PA) football team knocked off the host Franklin Regional Panthers (Murrysville, PA), by a score of 37-21.

The Wolverines (2-4) will now prepare for their game against Gateway (Monroeville, PA). The Gators come into the WPIAL AAAAA Big East game with a 4-3 record. In their last game, Gateway was knocked off by Penn-Trafford (Harrison City, PA), 15-10, in a league game.

The Panthers now sport a 2-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Greater Latrobe for a WPIAL AAAAA Big East game on Friday, October 15. Franklin Regional will battle a Wildcats team coming off a 55-13 league win over Connellsville (Connellsville, PA). The Wildcats record now stands at 3-4.
