The Marple Newtown Fightin' Tigers volleyball team (Newtown Square, PA), was dropped 3-1 in Friday's non-league challenge with the visiting Kennett Blue Demons (Kennett Square, PA)

The Blue Demons (1-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Downingtown East (Exton, PA). The Cougars enter the Ches-Mont challenge with a 1-2 record.

Next, the Fightin' Tigers meet the Harriton Rams (Rosemont, PA) in a Central challenge, on Saturday, September 11. Marple Newtown will attempt to move on its 0-4 season record. The Rams enter the challenge with a 1-0 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Academy Park (Sharon Hill, PA).
