September 8, 2021: Pinole, CA 94564 The Pinole Valley Spartans (Pinole, CA) volleyball overcame the visiting Richmond Oilers (Richmond, CA), 3-0 in Wednesday's non-league outing.
With the win, Pinole Valley upgrades its record to 3-1 on the year. The Spartans host St. Patrick-St. Vincent (Vallejo, CA) to play the Bruins in a Tri-County outing on Thursday, September 9. The Bruins go into the outing with a record of 3-6. St. Patrick-St. Vincent lost 3-1 in their recent league outing against Bethel (Vallejo, CA)
The Oilers now own a 1-4 record. They play next when they travel to El Cerrito for a Tri-County outing on Thursday, September 9. Richmond will play a Gauchos squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Vallejo (Vallejo, CA). The Gauchos record now stands at 5-7.
