New York High School Basketball - Kenmore West topped by Sweet Home
January 26, 2018: Amherst, NY 14228 The Sweet Home Panthers basketball team scored 67 points and restricted the visiting Kenmore West Blue Devils to 59 in the Panthers non-league victory on Friday.
The Panthers now sport a 11-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hamburg for a Section 6 Erie County II contest on Tuesday, January 30. Sweet Home will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 60-54 non-league loss to Clarence (Clarence, NY). The Bulldogs record now stands at 3-10.
The Blue Devils (3-10) will now prepare for their contest against Lockport (Lockport, NY). The Lions come into the Section 6 Niagara - Frontier contest with a 12-2 record. In their last contest, Lockport prevailed over North Tonawanda (North Tonawanda, NY), 57-53, in a league contest.
