The Cougars now sport a 6-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hays for a non-league match on Tuesday, February 4. South will meet a Indians team coming off a 62-41 non-league win over Hutchinson (Hutchinson, KS). The Indians record now stands at 10-0.
With the defeat, Abilene moves to 8-3 on the year. The Cowboys host Concordia (Concordia, KS) to meet the Panthers in a North Central Kansas match on Friday, January 31. The Panthers enter the match with a record of 8-3. Concordia lost 77-60 in their recent non-league match against Central (Salina, KS)
