October 14, 2016: Meridian, MS 39301 The Southeast Lauderdale Tigers football team (Meridian, MS), was knocked off 36-20 in Friday's league challenge with the visiting Kemper County Wildcats (DeKalb, MS)
The Wildcats (8-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Forest (Forest, MS). The Bearcats come into the 3A Region 5 challenge with a 7-2 record. In their last challenge, Forest knocked off Choctaw Central (Philadelphia, MS), 56-14, in a league challenge.
The Tigers now sport a 4-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Choctaw County for a 3A Region 5 challenge on Friday, October 21. Southeast Lauderdale will meet a Chargers team coming off a 34-7 league loss to Philadelphia (Philadelphia, MS). The Chargers record now stands at 4-5.
