April 4, 2022: Leicester, MA 01524 The crowd at Monday's non-league match between the Millbury Woolies (Millbury, MA) and the host Leicester Wolverines (Leicester, MA), saw Millbury's softball squad achieve victory over Leicester by a count of 24-1.
The Woolies now sport a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they host Nipmuc Regional for a non-league match on Friday, April 8. Millbury will face a Warriors squad coming off a 8-1 non-league loss to St. Paul (Worcester, MA). The Warriors record now stands at 0-2.
With the loss, Leicester falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Wolverines travel to Grafton (Grafton, MA) to face the Indians in a non-league match on Tuesday, April 5. The Indians enter the match with a record of 1-1. Grafton lost 1-0 in their recent non-league match against Wachusett Regional (Holden, MA)
