August 31, 2012: McKeesport, PA 15132 The McKeesport Tigers football team (McKeesport, PA), was beaten 33-18 in Friday's league challenge with the visiting Hempfield Area Spartans (Greensburg, PA)
The Spartans (1-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Greater Latrobe (Latrobe, PA). The Wildcats come into the WPIAL AAAA Foothills challenge with a 0-1 record. In their last challenge, Greater Latrobe was beaten by Gateway (Monroeville, PA), 61-6, in a league challenge.
The Tigers now sport a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Woodland Hills for a non-league challenge on Friday, September 7. McKeesport will meet a Wolverines team coming off a 31-12 league loss to Upper St. Clair (Upper St. Clair, PA). The Wolverines record now stands at 0-1.
