In Friday's non-league game, the Grayson Rams (Loganville, GA) football team were victorious over the host Hoover Buccaneers (Hoover, AL), by a score of 36-14.

The Rams (8-1) will now prepare for their game against South Gwinnett (Snellville, GA). The Comets come into the AAAAAAA Region 8 game with a 7-2 record. In their last game, South Gwinnett knocked off Archer (Lawrenceville, GA), 15-14, in a league game.

The Buccaneers now sport a 8-2 record. They take the field next when they host Bob Jones for a non-league game on Friday, November 4. Hoover will battle a Patriots team coming off a 43-26 league win over Buckhorn (New Market, AL). The Patriots record now stands at 6-2.
