The South Gwinnett Comets held off the host Archer Tigers football team by a count of 15-14 in Friday's league outing.

With the win, South Gwinnett upgrades its record to 7-2 on the season. The Comets host Grayson (Loganville, GA) to encounter the Rams in a AAAAAAA Region 8 outing on Friday, November 4. The Rams go into the outing with a record of 8-1. Grayson won 36-14 in their recent non-league outing against Hoover (Hoover, AL)

With the loss, Archer moves to 3-6 on the season. The Tigers host Shiloh (Snellville, GA) to encounter the Generals in a AAAAAAA Region 8 outing on Friday, November 4. The Generals go into the outing with a record of 2-7. Shiloh lost 30-0 in their recent league outing against Newton (Covington, GA)
