Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Lytle Pirates (Lytle, TX) and the host Blanco Panthers (Blanco, TX), saw Lytle's basketball squad wallop Blanco by a tally of 68-40.

With the victory, Lytle improves its record to 10-2 on the campaign. The Pirates travel to Fredericksburg (Fredericksburg, TX) to confront the Billies in a non-league challenge on Friday, December 9. The Billies come into the challenge with a record of 9-1. Fredericksburg lost 54-53 in their recent non-league challenge against Blanco (Blanco, TX)
