Texas High School Basketball - Flour Bluff can't hold off United
November 29, 2022: Laredo, TX 78045 The United Longhorns basketball team scored 69 points and held the visiting Flour Bluff Hornets to 68 in the Longhorns non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Longhorns now sport a 3-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Boerne-Champion for a non-league contest on Friday, December 2. United will battle a Chargers team coming off a 50-29 non-league win over United South (Laredo, TX). The Chargers record now stands at 10-0.
Next up, the Hornets play the Port Aransas Marlins (Port Aransas, TX) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 2. Flour Bluff will attempt to upgrade on its 7-3 season record. The Marlins come into the bout with a 6-2 record after their 67-52 non-league loss to Bishop (Bishop, TX).
