The Benton Central Bison football team (Oxford, IN), was beaten 48-18 in Friday's league challenge with the visiting Rensselaer Central Bombers (Rensselaer, IN)

The Bombers (4-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Northwestern (Kokomo, IN). The Tigers come into the non-league challenge with a 0-6 record. In their last challenge, Northwestern was beaten by Western (Russiaville, IN), 48-13, in a league challenge.

The Bison now sport a 0-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Lafayette Central Catholic for a Hoosier - West challenge on Friday, October 8.
