January 19, 2024: Winslow, ME 04901 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Lincoln Academy Eagles (Newcastle, ME) and the host Winslow Black Raiders (Winslow, ME), saw Lincoln Academy's basketball squad wallop Winslow by a tally of 67-26.
With the victory, Lincoln Academy improves its record to 8-4 on the campaign. The Eagles host Oceanside (Rockland, ME) to confront the Mariners in a B South challenge on Tuesday, January 23. The Mariners come into the challenge with a record of 12-0. Oceanside won 76-20 in their recent league challenge against Morse (Bath, ME)
Next up, the Black Raiders confront the Erskine Academy Eagles (South China, ME) in a B North challenge, on Tuesday, January 23. Winslow will attempt to improve on its 1-10 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 6-6 record after their 43-34 league loss to Belfast (Belfast, ME).
