The Red Mountain Mountain Lions (Mesa, AZ) basketball knocked off the visiting Highland Hawks (Gilbert, AZ), 66-48 in Thursday's non-league test.

The Mountain Lions (6-2) will now prepare for their test against Dobson (Mesa, AZ). The Mustangs go into the 6A East Valley test with a 6-4 record. In their last test, Dobson notched a victory over Westwood (Mesa, AZ), 74-57, in a league test.

The Hawks now own a 7-4 record. They play next when they travel to Brophy College Prep for a non-league test on Friday, December 29.
