The Bear River Bruins (Grass Valley, CA) basketball knocked off the visiting Valley Christian Lions (Roseville, CA), 69-53 in Friday's non-league test.

The Bruins (8-6) will now prepare for their test against Center (Antelope, CA). The Cougars go into the Pioneer Valley League test with a 8-6 record. In their last test, Center notched a victory over Franklin (Stockton, CA), 76-61, in a non-league test.
