Kentucky High School Basketball - Jenkins ripped by Knott County Central
February 8, 2024: Hindman, KY 41822 The Knott County Central Patriots basketball team scored 80 points and held the visiting Jenkins Cavaliers to 49 in the Patriots non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Patriots now sport a 19-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Breathitt County for a non-league contest on Friday, February 9. Knott County Central will battle a Bobcats team coming off a 80-77 non-league win over Powell County (Stanton, KY). The Bobcats record now stands at 13-8.
The Cavaliers (16-14) will now prepare for their contest against Lee County (Beattyville, KY). The Bobcats enter the non-league contest with a 8-17 record. In their last contest, Lee County was routed by Oneida Baptist Institute (Oneida, KY), 75-63, in a non-league contest.
