Virginia High School Basketball - Potomac School knocked off by St. Andrew's Episcopal
January 18, 2022: McLean, VA 22101 The St. Andrew's Episcopal Lions basketball team scored 65 points and held the host Potomac School Panthers to 50 in the Lions non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Lions now sport a 5-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Maret for a Mid-Atlantic contest on Tuesday, January 25. St. Andrew's Episcopal will battle a Frogs team coming off a 73-41 league win over St. James (Hagerstown, MD). The Frogs record now stands at 7-4.
The Panthers (5-5) will now prepare for their contest against Flint Hill (Oakton, VA). The Huskies enter the Mid-Atlantic contest with a 3-5 record. In their last contest, Flint Hill ran past Maret (Washington, DC), 90-71, in a league contest.
