March 5, 2021: Tucumcari, NM 88401 The Texico Wolverines (Texico, NM) football routed the host Tucumcari Rattlers (Tucumcari, NM), 49-14 in Friday's non-league bout.
In their next game, the Wolverines face the New Mexico Military Institute Colts (Roswell, NM) in a 3A District 4 bout, on Saturday, March 13. Texico will attempt to move on its 1-0 season record. The Colts enter the bout with a 0-1 record after their 17-2 non-league loss to Dexter (Dexter, NM).
The Rattlers (0-1) will now prepare for their bout against Albuquerque Academy (Albuquerque, NM). The Chargers enter the non-league bout with a 0-1 record. In their last bout, Albuquerque Academy was crushed by Hope Christian (Albuquerque, NM), 14-7, in a non-league bout.
