The Cross County Cougars basketball team scored 67 points and restricted the visiting Dorchester Longhorns to 9 in the Cougars non-league victory on Tuesday.

The Cougars now sport a 11-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hampton for a non-league contest on Thursday, January 18. Cross County will battle a Hawks team coming off a 44-30 league loss to Nebraska Lutheran (Waco, NE). The Hawks record now stands at 4-8.

The Longhorns (0-12) will now prepare for their contest against Shelby-Rising City (Shelby, NE). The Huskies come into the non-league contest with a 5-6 record. In their last contest, Shelby-Rising City was routed by David City (David City, NE), 66-60, in a non-league contest.
