Syracuse Rockets (Syracuse, NE) supporters left the game in high spirits Thursday as they observed their volleyball squad hold off the visiting Falls City Tigers (Falls City, NE), 2-1 in a non-league match.

Next up, the Rockets clash with the Palmyra Panthers (Palmyra, NE) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, September 27. Syracuse will attempt to advance on its 9-8 season record. The Panthers come into the match with a 10-2 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Auburn (Auburn, NE).

With the loss, Falls City drops to 10-4 on the season. The Tigers travel to Southern (Wymore, NE) to clash with the Raiders in a non-league battle on Saturday, September 24.
