California High School Basketball - Liberty knocked off by Centennial

February 2, 2024: Bakersfield, CA 93312

The Centennial Golden Hawks basketball team scored 67 points and held the host Liberty Patriots to 59 in the Golden Hawks league triumph on Friday.

The Golden Hawks now sport a 21-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Garces Memorial for a South Yosemite - River contest on Wednesday, February 7. Centennial will battle a Rams team coming off a 78-57 non-league loss to Bakersfield Christian (Bakersfield, CA). The Rams record now stands at 13-13.

The Patriots (13-13) will now prepare for their contest against Frontier (Bakersfield, CA). The Titans enter the South Yosemite - River contest with a 20-6 record. In their last contest, Frontier ran past Stockdale (Bakersfield, CA), 55-45, in a league contest.
