March 1, 2022: Brethren, MI 49619 The Suttons Bay Norsemen (Suttons Bay, MI) basketball nipped the host Brethren Bobcats (Brethren, MI), 52-47 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Norsemen (8-11) will now prepare for their test against Buckley (Buckley, MI). The Bears go into the Northwest test with a 14-5 record. In their last test, Buckley was tipped by St. Mary (Lake Leelanau, MI), 66-52, in a non-league test.
The Bobcats now own a 9-9 record. They play next when they host Walkerville for a West Michigan D test on Thursday, March 3. Brethren will encounter a Wildcats squad coming off a 48-37 league loss to Marion (Marion, MI). The Wildcats record now stands at 3-16.
