The Harper Creek Beavers (Battle Creek, MI) basketball felled the visiting Portage Northern Huskies (Portage, MI), 40-26 in Tuesday's non-league test.

The Beavers (9-0) will now prepare for their test against Coldwater (Coldwater, MI). The Cardinals go into the Southwestern Michigan - East test with a 6-3 record.
