The May River Sharks basketball team (Bluffton, SC), was nudged 61-56 in Wednesday's non-league battle with the host West Florence Knights (Florence, SC)

The Knights now possess a 17-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Irmo for a non-league battle on Friday, February 17. West Florence will battle a Yellowjackets team coming off a 79-34 non-league win over North Myrtle Beach (Little River, SC). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 22-5.
