Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Cape Fear Colts (Fayetteville, NC) and the host Jack Britt Buccaneers (Fayetteville, NC), saw Cape Fear's basketball squad hold off Jack Britt by a tally of 70-63.

With the victory, Cape Fear improves its record to 11-6 on the campaign. The Colts travel to Seventy-First (Fayetteville, NC) to play the Falcons in a 3A/4A Conference 22 challenge on Saturday, February 5. The Falcons come into the challenge with a record of 16-3. Seventy-First won 64-37 in their recent league challenge against Purnell Swett (Pembroke, NC)

Next up, the Buccaneers play the Douglas Byrd Eagles (Fayetteville, NC) in a 3A/4A Conference 22 challenge, on Saturday, February 5. Jack Britt will attempt to improve on its 7-14 season record.
