January 29, 2024: Packwood, IA 52580 The Pekin Panthers basketball team (Packwood, IA), was overwhelmed 57-26 in Monday's non-league battle with the visiting Davis County Mustangs (Bloomfield, IA)
The Mustangs now possess a 8-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host Chariton for a South Central battle on Tuesday, January 30. Davis County will confront a Chargers team coming off a 65-27 non-league win over Pleasantville (Pleasantville, IA). The Chargers record now stands at 14-3.
The Panthers (6-11) will now prepare for their battle against Louisa-Muscatine (Letts, IA). The Falcons come into the SEI - North battle with a 3-14 record. In their last battle, Louisa-Muscatine was overwhelmed by WACO (Wayland, IA), 47-43, in a non-league battle.
