The Lutheran West Longhorns (Rocky River, OH) basketball crushed the host Kirtland Hornets (Kirtland, OH), 62-35 in Tuesday's league test.

The Longhorns (15-5) will now prepare for their test against St. Ignatius (Cleveland, OH). The Wildcats go into the non-league test with a 10-10 record. In their last test, St. Ignatius was trounced by Brush (Lyndhurst, OH), 62-59, in a non-league test.

The Hornets now own a 9-10 record. They play next when they host North for a non-league test on Thursday, February 17. Kirtland will encounter a Rangers squad coming off a 61-47 league loss to South (Willoughby, OH). The Rangers record now stands at 7-13.
